Soil, Kids, Vegan — Connected Through Nature
Wow!! Great capture – you can really see the detail and beauty!
And can you believe it’s with an iPhone camera? I was just too lazy to get the bag. It emerged several days later when we were away. My husband took a decent picture of the butterfly before letting it go in the garden, but I haven’t followed up yet.
Thanks, Matthew. Nice to have your dirty tracks here.

Wow, I’m continually blown away by the quality of photos coming from smartphones these days!! Having that portability and quality in a “pocket camera” is a nature lovers dream!
Great for selfies with beautiful backgrounds and animals that stay still, but only the big lens will do for birds. The iPhone has pretty decent macro capability.
Isn’t he/she beautiful!
We both think so, Animalista.
Great Photo and sense of humor!
Always great to have you here, Ginny. Can’t wait to see him as he emerges!! It’ll be our first of the species.
This is absolutely gorgeous! Amazing detail … thanks for posting.
You’re welcome! They really are beautiful. My son ‘rescued’ him from the dill patch. Red wasps ate all the others. Thanks for coming by, Sally.
Kudos to your son and to you and your camera!
Ha! The Canon and Tamron lens stayed inside this time. Thank the iPhone!!
The iPhone is quite amazing … who’da thunk it would take such great pics. 🙂
