Happy Valentine’s Day

“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.” ~ William Shakespeare

Whether you recognize Valentine’s Day as one of love and relationships or simply another day for clever marketing and rampant consumption, use the day to see the world around you in the beauty that it is and love all the animals — especially the human animal — in the best way that you can.

Here are a few Valentine’s pinks and reds and beautiful faces of love from our yard on an otherwise dreary late winter — yet unseasonably spring — day.

Peach Blossom

Surprised White-tailed Deer

Indian Hawthorne Blossom

Squirrel Buddy

Variegated Ginger
Lone Freeze Survivor

    1. Ha! She is definitely a chunk (probably preggos). I don’t endeavor to feed squirrels, but they scrounge pretty efficiently and we have old pecan trees out back. No shortage of food there. Nice to have you here! Hope to see you again. 😀
